It is unreasonable to set 20mph limits on wide A and B roads into town. The Parish consultation showed that this was not supported and yet they want to impose this on the general population.","additional_details":"Statistics produced by the States show that in the last 10 years, speeding was a contributory factor in just 2% of road accidents in Jersey. This does not justify the draconian reduction of speed limits being proposed and is an infringement of Islanders' freedoms to drive safely within the current speed limits. The Parish have ignored the Jersey Road Safety Action Plan 2017 - 2019 that sets out a more sensible approach to setting speed limits.","state":"closed","signature_count":781,"created_at":"2021-10-31T18:34:06.264Z","updated_at":"2022-11-03T00:00:18.832Z","rejected_at":null,"opened_at":"2021-11-02T11:19:45.870Z","closed_at":"2022-05-02T22:59:59.999Z","moderation_threshold_reached_at":"2021-11-01T08:47:36.598Z","response_threshold_reached_at":null,"ministers_response_at":null,"debate_threshold_reached_at":null,"scheduled_debate_date":null,"debate_outcome_at":null,"creator_name":null,"rejection":null,"ministers_reponse":null,"debate":null,"signatures_by_parish":[{"name":"Trinity","signature_count":31},{"name":"St. Peter","signature_count":37},{"name":"St. John","signature_count":28},{"name":"St. Mary","signature_count":10},{"name":"St. Saviour","signature_count":109},{"name":"St. Brelade","signature_count":69},{"name":"St. Helier","signature_count":265},{"name":"St. Martin","signature_count":24},{"name":"St. Ouen","signature_count":42},{"name":"St. Lawrence","signature_count":46},{"name":"Grouville","signature_count":35},{"name":"St. Clement","signature_count":82}]}}}
