Closed petition Stop reducing speed limits to 20mph as the only solution to improve road safety!
The Road Safety Action Plan 2017-2019 put together a comprehensive report to improve road safety, however it seems the Dept of Infrastructure and Ministers keep opting to reduce speed limits only. Based on recent news, I am concerned this is having little impact/targeting the wrong groups.

From my past working experience of Euro NCAP, Road Safety and with the feedback from many Islanders (thank you for your time!), I have put together a report for the States of Jersey offering alternative solutions to improve road safety on the Island and to compliment the other targets of the Road Safety Action Plan (Combat drink driving, introduce a penalty points system on driver licences and promote education to road users).
