Closed petition Request Ports of Jersey to review decision to terminate lease on Sailors' Rest
Ports of Jersey want to demolish the building.
The Sailors’ Rest, which is situated next to the Maritime Museum, has now shut, having served customers for more than five decades. It is a tourist amenity to the maritime community and public on the harbour.

There are not many tourism venues like the Sailors' Rest, which supply welcome and reasonably-priced comfort food and drink to the maritime community, and visitors to the Maritime Museum in that area. The States, or the appropriate Minister, as sole shareholder for Ports of Jersey, should ask them to reconsider their decision.
