An investigation is underway after someone smashed the window of a car with a dog inside during the hot weather.
It took place on Tuesday 23 July 2019 when the temperature reached 35.7 degrees in Jersey.
It was the second hottest day in Jersey since records began in 1894.
Officers say both parties are being investigated.
The person who smashed the window for criminal damage and the owner of vehicle for animal cruelty.
