Rejected petition Block the re-delevopment of St Brelades bay into luxury flats for the rich.

Some smaller businesses including Wayside cafe are closing so they can re-delevopment the area, including some flats. The area should be for the public to enjoy, not the rich.

How can planning turn down first time buyers homes because of island plan, but allow a beachfront to be ruined.

Each part of the redevelopment should be a benefit to the public, flats have no place right on the seafront ruining the shoreline.

This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking Ministers or States Assembly to do.

The e-petition concerns a development for which planning permission has already been granted. A more general e-petition about the development of St Brelade's Bay would be permissible. We asked the petition creator about this but did not get a response.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
