Closed petition Make it obligatory to have a bell attached to any bicycle using the cycle paths.

The cycle paths can be a dangerous mix of cyclists and pedestrians. There are many corners and turns which obscure straight line vision for both users. Many cyclists insist on traveling at speed along the path with little chance of stopping should an unaware child or adult cross their path.
Ideally, The States should encourage use of bells by providing them, free of charge for a one or two month period. After that, no bell; no cycle path - and a fine!
There have been enough near misses and injuries.
