Closed petition Make it illegal for fossil fuelled (ICE) cars to park in an Electric Vehicle bay

As well as increasing the capability and scope of the charging infrastructure across Jersey, especially in the more rural areas where its currently still very poor, the Government needs to tackle the increasing problem of EV charging point blocking by ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) vehicles.

There is currently no legal deterrent to stop non EV drivers parking their ICE cars in dedicated EV charging bays, only common sense and the embarrassment of them obviously causing an obstruction.
