Closed petition We need a one off wealth tax on the islands many super rich individuals.

This petition doesn't allow for long winded financial detail which in any case would be up to lawyers to draw up.

But assets over a fair threshold need to be taxed. This can create a fund for struggling businesses to access and stay alive.
Loans and deferrals simply push the problem further down the road.

If we are truly in this together, let's honour the heroic actions of the few by creating this fund to ensure there is still an economy left after this pandemic!
