If Jersey opens its borders during the Covid pandemic (in and out), it will be signing a death warrant for many Islanders and it will negate the benefits of the lockdown. The 14 day isolation period should remain for all returnees.

Other countries have not imposed strict lockdown measures, in particular the UK, so we should not be trying to attract travellers to the Island. Likewise, Jersey residents should not be allowed to travel abroad other than in exceptional circumstances.
