As the lockdown is slowly being lifted, and people are allowed out again, there has been a significant increase of litter, rubbish, empty bottles and disposable BBQs abandoned in public places, by people who had a gathering in the sun.

It is very sad to see this new behaviour, which can be stopped by permanent physical police at the "hot spots" during peak times (sunny evenings and weekend).
Note: At the beginning of the lockdown, the police were everywhere to ensure no more than 2 people / friends gathering were happening.
This worked a treat.
It can be done to ensure Jersey's beautiful beaches, parks, gardens and public places are respected and kept clean.
