Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.

There is already an open e-petition calling for the proposed memorial not to be proceeded with and the money allocated to be spent on something else. There is also an open e-petition calling on the States to provide financial support to the zoo. This e-petition covers the same ground.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
