Closed petition Support the Government by making prior year taxpayers pay their tax early.
This petition supports the proposal that £320 million should be raised from individuals by moving them to current year taxpayers. Whilst hardship is understood, it will make the tax system much easier to administer. 'Middle Jersey' should pay the bulk of taxation and fund spending.

The petition fully supports the Minister for Treasury and Resources and believes in the implementation of current year tax payments before any review of zero-ten, the taxation of the affluent, or any moves to remove interest relief for overseas investors. It should be signed by those that benefit from the current arrangement of removing the tax burden from companies, to the individual, in order to maintain our international flexibility when attracting overseas funds.
