The Government of Jersey launched the Pledge to Put Children First in September 2018.
However children and their families are waiting months/ years for appointments with CAMHS causing unnecessary harm to the children’s well-being and exacerbating mental health issues, help us to help our children

After talking to parents with children who are under CAMHS and children who are attempting to access the department. It is apparent that the service is in much need of an overhaul, parents are waiting months to for their children to be seen for Autism and ADHD assessments and medication reviews. This is not acceptable. The government is failing CAMHS and in turn failing our children and things need to change.
