Closed petition Do not change the Jersey electoral system without a referendum.

The States of Jersey Assembly is trying to change the electoral system in an extremely fundamental way. While the system can be improved, such large changes like constituency boundaries, type of States members, and number of members should not happen without consultation and certainly not without confirmation that electors agree with the changes.

This petition does not support one system over another, it is just about asking us, the public, what we think when changes are made that affect the way we can vote or who we can vote for. If you cannot accept to have the value and purpose of your votes changed without your consent please sign this petition.
