Closed petition Fight for the Fort - Develop Fort Regent into a Centre of Sporting Excellence

This petition is a last attempt to stop all sporting facilities being removed from Fort Regent. The present facilities are well used by the public and should be redeveloped as passed by the States of Jersey as P.181/1999 into a Sporting Centre of Excellence.

The Government has spent a considerable amount of money on studies to develop Fort Regent into a modern Sports Village that could accommodate the majority of sports currently undertaken in the Island. This would be contained inside the fabric of the present building providing much-needed wet weather facilities.

Please consider signing this petition to make Fort Regent into a thriving sporting facility for all the public to use, whilst improving physical and mental well-being for the youth of Jersey.
