Closed petition Reopen Oak & Maple Wards at St Saviour's Hosp for advanced dementia patients.

Our General Hospital is suffering from a severe shortage of beds because of the HCS management decision to close Oak & Maple wards at St Saviour's hospital which previously housed many dementia patients.
These are largely patients with advanced dementia which the care homes will not take as they are too labour intensive. The General Hospital is not the right place for them, nor are the nurses in the General Hospital adequately trained to deal with them. We urgently need to reopen these beds.
