Closed petition Allocate 1 beach to allow dogs to be walked off the lead all year round

Having discussed this with many dog owners and those who don’t own dogs, I believe allowing one beach to accommodate off-lead dog-walking would benefit a large proportion of the community while minimising the disruption and interference of those who do not wish to walk a dog on the beach. This could be achieved by selecting a beach such as St Aubin's beach towards town which is used less for recreation and which provides a large space close to town for dogs potentially in apartments.
