The teacher strikes have been extremely disruptive to islanders with children and many parents have had to take time off work, and will need to take further time if the next strike goes ahead.

The Government has done too little to prevent this and should proceed with meaningful negotiations to improve pay.
Our teachers work incredibly hard and don't deserve a real terms pay cut.
