Petition Grant Housing and Working rights to children and grandchildren of Jersey people.
When a Jersey person (meaning anyone who has gained Entitled Status at any time) leaves the Island, if their children are born and raised elsewhere, they do not inherit the right to work and live in Jersey.

Many of our grandchildren cannot return. If the Government allowed them to inherit these rights from their parents and grandparents it would enable many to return to family. We have a ‘Bean drain’ and need young people to come and live here, who better than our own family. Many Jersey people would welcome their grandchildren to the Island and those who came would already have a special connection to the Island.
