Rejected petition Put speed bumps on la pouquelaye road making it safe for children/residents
La pouquelaye has long become a race track for Nearly every driver. It is a 20mph zone and that’s rarely stuck to. It is a main road leading to d’avergne primary school. It’s only a matter of time before a child/pedestrian is killed on this road. 20mph signs are small and ignored even when seen.

I have asked the police to come and do a check with their speed cameras, they would have a field day all day long catching speeding motorists. But they have never once shown up. I have also asked the primary school to put a memo in their latest term letter which I’m hoping they have done. But so far it doesn’t seem to have made a difference. Residents and parents of the area have had enough.
