Petition Delist St Saviour's Hospital & demolish building to make way for Health Village
St Saviour’s Hospital is listed as an asylum. Apart from being extremely ugly, this building holds very unhappy memories for many Islanders and their families. We desperately need a Health Village and housing for health workers which could be built on this site. It should be demolished.

St Saviour’s Hospital site is the perfect site for a dementia village and somewhere for social housing for the elderly and disabled, where they can live in close proximity to each other and help each other. This would end loneliness for many elderly folk and mean less reliance on social services. It would also mean far less impact on traffic around Five Oaks. Moving the elderly out of town makes way for young people in town flats and puts those that need family nursing etc all in one area.
