Petition Leave Broad Street open to buses
The Government has proposed Broad Street be permanently closed to traffic including buses. There are numerous bus services using Broad Street daily: numbers 5, 19, 20 and 24. For as long as I can remember buses 5 and 19 have stopped at Broad Street and I have lived on these bus routes for 40 years.

Many shoppers with restricted mobility would find it very difficult to carry a weekly or even a daily shop to the next stop, for example Liberation Station or Gloucester Street North, if the Broad Street stop is removed.
