Petition Add traffic calming measures and pedestrian crossings into St Peter’s village
St Peter’s Village is a largely central and built-up area of the parish and home to many residents, housing estates, shops, amenities and two primary schools. Vehicles continuously speed in the area and with no traffic calming or crossings it makes for a dangerous environment.

Many residents have shared their stories of fearing for their safety when traveling around the village on foot, many opting to drive 50m or less to avoid crossing the road. This is simply not right!
I want all community members of any age to feel safe to walk around the village and adequate controls put in place on Department of Infrastructure managed roads to facilitate this.
