Petition Ensure settled Jersey residents are recognised by airlines and not denied travel
We, the undersigned, call on the Government of Jersey to urgently implement a clear process to ensure Jersey residents with settled status are not wrongly denied boarding due to confusion over UK ETA requirements, which is causing people to be stranded, distressed, and financially impacted.

We ask the Government of Jersey to:
1. Establish recognition protocols with airlines confirming settled or pre-settled residents do not require an ETA where applicable.
2. Issue clear guidance for airlines and travellers.
3. Provide support for residents stranded due to these issues.
4. Engage with the UK Government to ensure Jersey’s position is reflected in ETA systems.
Without urgent action, more residents risk being denied travel and left stranded.
