Les Mielles Golf Course (62 acres, St Ouen's Bay) is for sale at £9.95m. We ask Government to explore funding to buy it, return most of the land to nature with an education and activities element, and convert the clubhouse into a national centre - before it is lost to private development.

Government part-funded Plémont's rewilding (£3.5m of £7.15m for 11.3 acres) and fully funded Grève de Lecq (£3.6m), gifting it to the National Trust. Les Mielles offers 5x Plémont's land plus a usable clubhouse for ~1.4x the price - strong value for money and a generational opportunity.
We ask Government to urgently assess feasibility, explore co-funding or gifting to a charity such as the National Trust, and consult on balancing rewilding, public access and limited paid use to fund upkeep.
