Petition Ex gratia payments for Jersey residents for losses after being denied boarding
We call on the Government of Jersey to provide support and ex gratia compensation for Jersey residents who are wrongly denied boarding due to the misrecognition or misunderstanding of Jersey-issued British passports.

Jersey residents should not suffer financial loss, travel disruption or distress because airlines or their agents fail to recognise the validity and status of Jersey-issued British passports. The Government should work with airlines and international authorities to improve awareness of Jersey passports and establish an ex-gratia compensation scheme for residents who are wrongly denied boarding through no fault of their own.
