Petition Remuneration for States Owned Entities CEOs shouldn’t be greater than GoJ CEO

This petition calls for the States Assembly to make necessary changes to legislation and MoUs to ensure that the total remuneration paid to CEOs of States Owned Entities is not greater than that of the CEO of the Government of Jersey’s public service.

In 2025 the Jersey Electricity CEO earned £530,606*(p.109), excluding pensions/shares/house loans, while the CEO of the Government of Jersey’s public service earned £325,000-£330,000** (p.146). However, in 2025 Jersey Electricity group revenue was £146.2 million*(p.2) while the States of Jersey revenue for 2025 was £1,770 million**(p.193). Other CEOs are also paid highly by comparison to the most important role in Jersey.***(p. 32)
